Marketing Assistant Joins Genitrix
Leading British veterinary pharmaceutical company Genitrix has appointed a marketing assistant to oversee its marketing campaigns in 2010 and beyond. Robert Simpson joined the company at the start of this year and reports to Marketing Director Rob Watkins.
Robert brings experience in the animal health and marketing sectors to Genitrix. A zoology graduate, he worked for Goldeneye Video and Photography as a specialist equine photographer and marketing assistant before joining Genitrix. Prior to that, he worked with Fast and Loose Racing, a racehorse syndication company, as a marketing executive. Robert has also completed the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “The opportunity to combine my scientific and marketing training was one not to be missed. I’m looking forward to helping develop innovative and effective campaigns to support the company’s products in the future.”
Rob Watkins, Genitrix’ Marketing Director, added: “A strong focus on marketing is a hallmark of everything we do. After a strong year, and with exciting developments in the pipeline for 2010, we have expanded our marketing team with the creation of this new role of Marketing Assistant. Robert brings great experience to us and we’re really looking forward to working with him.”
